| Glasworks Nizbor:
Nizbor Glassworks is located in a small, quiet town not far from Prague. The factory was founded by the Ruckl family in 1846, when the first of four glassworks was founded. The glass factory in Nizbor was built in 1903.
The firm has been producing and selling the traditional cut lead crystal glass of the highest quality (24% PbO) of the various patterns and shapes, produces high-quality hand-cut crystal, luxury coloured glass and medical glass.
The visitors are allowed to tour the manufacturing process. During the tour of the factory you will see a variety of glass production techniques - using blow pipes, cutting and drawing, etc. The visitors we will a look at the work in the furnace department, in the quality control department, in the glass cutting department and in the painter's studio. In the grounds of the glassworks is the showroom and factory store with glass products. A unique and rare experience.
